Parisian producer Yet More, known for his breakout 'Erotic Trip', returns on Habitat with a pair of crisp, emotionally charged house tracks. Drawing on his Levantine and Persian heritage, he blends 90s signifiers-violin stabs, piano loops, diva samples-with sharp, modern drum programming and thick low-end. 'Ladies Man' opens the record in introspective mode, gradually teasing out warmth and melancholy through woozy chords and a yearning vocal cut. Flip-side 'Just Wanna', co-produced with Assayag, takes a more tensile approach: chopped Holloway vocals and a creeping bassline snake through dry, swinging drums, hitting that sweet spot between restraint and release. Across both cuts, Yet More shows a keen grasp of house music's emotional vocabulary, without falling into pastiche. It's nostalgic, yes-but also fresh, moody, and smartly club-functional.
